Leo van Praagh

Leo came to Israel in 1950, where he met his Eva, originally from Enschede. They were married in 1952 (in Netanya).
For his 6th operation (as a baby he was struck by polio) he had to return to the Netherlands.
Only in 1978 they returned to Netanya, as a result of family circumstances their stay in the Netherlands turned out to be rather a lengthy one.
Leo and Eva started from scratch a knitwear factory, which in 1978, when they sold the business, exported to all Western Europe.
Back in Israel he imported electronic wheelchairs.
Now they enjoy the nice atmosphere and excellent care of Beth Juliana !
Though a relatively new volunteer Leo acquired good expertise in the digitalization of complex databases for Akevoth.
