Born in The Hague in 1934 (family
name Grajower). Nina fled Holland with her parents in December 1941 via Belgium, France,
Spain, Portugal and was interned in Surinam in 1943.
She returned via Cuba
and the US to Holland in 1949.
She moved to Israel in 1955 and married Eric (Menachem)
Mayer (1923 – 2004) in 1956. Nina
lived in Jerusalem,
Givataim, Singapore
and Paris
and now lives in Zur Moshe since 2000.
After receiving her secretary diploma at the reputable Schoevers
Institute she has worked in that profession for 25 years.
Nina is the proud (grand) mother of 3 children and 9 grand
children.
