Event: event 18 Feb 1807 Amsterdam on this date Wedenesday, 10 Adar I 567 the parnassim of kehilath Amsterdam convened together with a commission of the constituency in the reception room of the community with k"h Moshe ben k"h Eli' v.Praag and his son the bachelor Ber, who cam e to thank for the trouble which the parnassim and the said commission have taken by their embellishment to the authorities - may their pomp be heightened - so that finally the bachelor Ber m.h.l. has been appointed to serve as a public notary , which until now in this state never has happened to one of our people.
And the parnassim replied to this with a fitting answer, and after k"h Moshe ben k"h Eli' v.Praag and his son had left the room, it was decided to thank the diectors of the town [wethouders] - may their pomp heighten - for this, in name of the par nassim.
