1) a loan to the blind widow for the amount of fl. 800,- from the estate of the late Levie ben Abraham Cohen z.l; for the security of the loan she collaterates 2 seats in the great synagogue belonging to her by 'appointement' of the 'edele achtbar e heeren schepenen' [the city-counselors] d.d. Sep 9th, 1780, as registered in the '329 schepensminuut register, folio 211'.
2) a loan to the blind widow for the amount of fl. 200,- from the ketsinim k"h Jochanan ben Benjamin Levie-Emden z.l. & k"h Baruch ben Kosman z.l.
3) an act made up by persons committed for the security of the 2nd loan, reading as follows:
'We, the undersigned commit ourselves as collaterals and as primary debtors to the ketsinim k"h Jochanan ben Benjamin Levie-Emden & k"h Baruch ben k"h Kosman z.l. for the amount of fl. 200,-, which on this day is lent out to my mother and mother- in-law mrs.Channa bat pu Mordechai Renz z.l. as detailed in the act above; and in case our mother/mother-in-law will not pay her debt, then we oblige ourselvesas if this is our own debt and commitment to pay this debt and the interest thereof; ren unciant of all possible excuses; signed: Moshe Nathan ben k"h Jokele m.h.l.
