Event: event Jan 1779 transfer of seat in synagogue in Amsterdam In a statement of the trustees of the jewish community in the year 5539 it is stated, that 1 seat in the men's section of the great synagogue, which belonged to the late mohr"r Itsak ben Nathan z.l.(Isaak Nathan de Jonge), was inherited as include d in the whole inheritance, by the brothers ketsinim Itsak & k"h Leizer (Isaak Joseph de Jonge & Eliaser Joseph de Jonge), sons of his late brother Joseph ben Nathan z.l, according to the will of mho' Itsak z.l. made up here before notary Engelber tus Martinus Dorper on May 5th, 1774; and now according to the division between the brothers Itsak & k"h Leizer, as done before that notary on Jun 5th, 1775, this seat goes to katsin k"h Leizer m.h.l; and hereby katsin Itsak waived his right s on that seat, and thus it belongs solely to katsin k"h Leizer.
