Lived in London at the time of daughter Bilha's marriage in Sep 1862, but was present in Amsterdam to give her consent. She never appeared in the Amsterdam population register. As she had been living in London in 1849, and the two boys stayed wit h family around 1851, I expected her and Bilha in the 1851 Census, and herself in 1861 too. I never found them, which may have to do with the way the name De Jonge was spelled, and the way the name was transcribed (Deyonge, Dejoug, De Young, Dego uge etc etc).
The nearest to a death record I found was "Mooretta De Gonng" in the GRO Death Index 1st Qtr 1863. This could also have been son Moses/Maurits/Morris. It needs the original registration from Whitechapel to see what the name really may have been , and the age at death.
