1748 Heemse Census lists her as under 10 years of age. She is not mentioned in the 1786 Will of Ruben Ijsraels though her two other siblings are listed and since, no other records for her have, as of this date, been found, it is inferred from th is that she died young. (1748 Heemse census, Israel de JodeØ, transcribed by Hardenberg Historical Society, www.historiekamer.nl/geschiedenis/bevolkingsregisters/1748/1748_10-15_heemse.shtmll; 1786 Will of Ruben Ijsraels, 21/7/1786, Archiv e 55.2.1, Old Judicial Records of Schoutambt Hardenberg, inv. nr. 14, 1775-1787, fol. 291; 1786 Will of Ruben Ijsraels, 21/7/1786, Archive 55.2.1, Old Judicial Records of Schoutambt Hardenberg, inv. nr. 14, 1775-1787, fol. 291) .

Jesaias also had a son name d Ruben, no doubt named after his father. 1828 Lienden Marriage Record (14/11/1828, nr. 10, Ruben SchaapØ) states that he was the son of Jesaias Schaap). Note also that one of Jesaias sons was named Israel, which was probably after hi s grandfather. The 1748 Hardenberg Census contains no surname of Schaap and the only Ruben is Ruben Israels, thus making it likely that Jesaias is Rubens son who later took the surname of Schaap. If Jesaias was born in 1747, why does nt he appear in the 1748 Hardenberg census? It could be, however, that in actuality, he was born after 1748. (1748 Heemse census, Israel de JodeØ, transcribed by Hardenberg Historical Society, www.historiekamer.nl/geschiedenis/bevolkin gsregisters/1748/1748_10-15_heemse.shtmll).
