Date of marriage given is the date of the 'bans', witnessed by his mother Eva Soel/Joel from Weesp, he still lived in Steenwijk in 1794.
On 4 April 1817 he violated the rules and regulations of the Jewish Community which stated that it was forbidden to come in the synagogue with wooden shoes, slippoers and a cap. It was also forbidden to talk in the synagogue wiith one of the bpoar d members.He was punished 25.5cent pieces, but when it appeared that he was not aware of these new regulations He was penaliazed only 6.5 cent pieces.
He was a painter and glass maker, a member of the board of the jewish community.
On4 March 1812 he signed a declaration to keep the Spier surname.
