The deed of the court: As we, the court, consisting of three of us, acting unitedly, when appeared before us the dear khr"r Hirsch ben late rabbani mohr"r Peis Hammelburg z.l, and stated before us a trustworthy statement, [saying] that his fathe r at his death left 2 sons, i.e. he himself and his brother Eli', who died afterwards as a bachelor, and so Hirsch was left sole inheritor to the estate of his father & brother.
