Event: event 1776 sale of seats in synagogue of Amsterdam In two undated acts in the year 5536 [1776] the couple Gracia bat late k"h Nathan Shochet z.l. & naaleh k"h Leib ben k"h Moshe Rofe, as represented by the thereto authorised torani k"h Moshe Cohen-Cauvern Shamash ve-Neeman, sell a seat in the grea t synagogue, which came to mrs. Gracia as sole daughter and inheritor of her late mother Rachel bat Peisel Cohen's estate; the authorisation was made up by her in Rotterdam before the trustees of the congregation on Thursday 5 Elul 5535 [1775] , on behalf of herself and by a procuration from her husband k"h Leib, as made up in London on Aug 8th, 1775 before notary Jacob de Pinna.
Another seat is sold by the same representative, as authorised by the same authorisations.
