On 8 Nov 1762 Ester Italiaander (also known as Ester Levij Vittoria), second child of Abraham Italiaander (Levij Vittoria) and Gracia Campos, died unmarried, intestate. There had been a testament in which she and her brother Joseph had left everyt hing to each other, but Joseph had since died. A kind of family-tree was made on behalf of the heirs, before Notary Geniets (13582/111, on 12 feb 1763). The part concerning the van Embdens:
Branch 8 Mariana, daughter of Abraham Italiaander (Levij Vittoria) and Rebecca Hammelburg, died long ago. She had been married to Alexander van Embden, they had 8 children: Hartog, Abraham, Eliaser, Joseph, Mordochaij, Rachel, Benjamin and Rebecca . The first six are still alive, the last two have died. Rachel is the widow of Moses Asser, Benjamin had 4 children with Helena van Rees: Mariana who is married to Calmer Wolff, Jochem, Alexander and Mindele, all living.
Rebecca, long dead, has been married to Isaac Ezechiel Cohen. They had 5 children: Mariana, Merla, Alexander, Mindele and Ezechiel. Mariana married to Joseph Salomon Cohen, Merla to Abraham Eleaser Voorsanger, Mindele unmarried adult.
The heirs gave power of attorney to Isaac Italiaander Mordechaijs, Mordechai van Embden, Jacobus Benedictus, and Meijer Abraham Sadok (all related). The minors among the heirs, Jochem, Alexander and Mindele van Embden (both parents had died), an d Ezechiel Isaac Cohen (his mother had died), would be represented by a suppoost of the Weeskamer (Orphan Board). Possibly more facts are described in the documents of the Weeskamer, but those of that period are badly damaged, and not available fo r public viewing.

Married (church) 8 Feb 1767 Hoerstgen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Affirmation, dated 4 Sep 1767, by the Lady of Castle Fronenbruch, Hoerstgen, with approval of Israel Lazarus, Rabbi of the Jewish Community in Horstgen, that the Schutzjude MJ Marcus and MI Cohen married there in the Jewish tradition, on 2 Februa ry 1767. to:
Mordechai Jacob Marcus, died ± 17 Jul 1796 Amsterdam, Amsterdam, from the burial register of the Dutch Isr Communitty: Mordechai Jacob Marcus was buried at Zeeburg on 17 July 1796 (marriage supplements Lea Marcus Zwolle 1812). 4) Alexander Isaac Cohen, birth Probably Nijkerk, buried 20 Mar 1805 Amsterdam, Buried at Zeeburg Cemetery. The registration of his burial was supplied as proof of death when daughter Mietje married.
Another Alexander Cohen must have lived in Nijkerk: there was a burial there of a Mietje Alexander Cohen, 12 Aug1794, Jewish.

D.E. Cohen in De geschiedenis van de familie Cohen: Isaac Ezechiels son Alexander/Abraham later moved to Amsterdam where he adopted the name Lohman. Because of the name Zadoks there may be a mix-up with Abraham Isac/Eizik Lohmans/Cohen-Zadoks wh o died in 1827 in Amsterdam (see Akevoth Ashkenazi Amsterdam in the Eighteenth Century),
