The mother of Henry Best (related), aged 96, remembers that Maurice Duparc (and presumably his wife, Esther) came to her wedding. She also remembers going to his 90th birthday party in 1942 and his daughter, Phoebe, visiting her parents (my grandp arents) several times.
Maurice Duparc worked for the London Jewish Chronicle as, I understand, a sub-editor under his brother-in-law, Asher Myers, the editor. Both the mother of Henry Best and her father (his grandfather) worked for the Jewish Chronicle, as his father.

Morris Duparc was Managing Editor of the Jewish Chronicle for 50 years, starting in 1873.

See - memories of Morris Duparc in his 90th year printed in the Jewish Chronicle, November 14th, 1941.
