Louis-Levie Hartog, birth 24 May 1893 Eindhoven, died 5 May 1941 Brussel, buried Brussel, occupation: Furrier, son of Hartog Hartog and Rebecca-Bet Wijnbergen He lived for a long time in Leipzig. Louis died of ulcers, which were said to be a result of inhaling fur-dust. 1) Rosalie Rebecca-Dodo Hartog, birth 17 Apr 1924 Linkebeek,Brussels, died 28 May 1995 Sart Dames Avelines,Belgium, occupation: Bookkeeper&Tax-consultant Dodo came over to Bussum (where we were living.SLW) in 1941, when my brother Hans was born, to help out with my mother. Never having much contact, I stayed informed through tante Roos Hartogs-Wijnbergen and Maaike W.-de Koning in Ehv, so I knew sh e had heart-trouble. Dodo worked all her married live very hard to provide for her family, as her husband-painter never earned much. She even mentioned still working in her last letter with photos of 1941 (14.11.1994).
